„Be the change you want to see in the world.“

(Mahatma Gandhi)

International crises, conflicts, natural disasters, and socio-political circumstances often cause people in various parts of the world to fall into hardship through no fault of their own, leading to undignified living conditions.

The purpose of the Chahabadi-Stiftung  is to help people in these situations and improve their living conditions in the long-term

This is why the foundation provides financial support for carefully chosen (developmental) projects locally and internationally, which help in severe emergencies.

The Charity

This non-profit foundation was established in 2023, and we are happy that we were able to support projects both domestically and abroad for the first time in 2024.

By establishing this charity, I hope to assist those who find themselves in need through no fault of their own. I would be deeply grateful if others felt inspired to support this cause, whether through donations or contributions to the endowment."

Care:
Support in Winter - Ukraine

Support during Winter in Ukraine

Especially during the cold winter months, people are exposed to the life-threatening cold of Eastern Europe – particularly near the front lines, where the most vulnerable groups have often been left behind. CARE is on the ground, carrying out repairs to buildings to keep residents warm and protected. Windows are being replaced, and heating systems and water pipes are being repaired.

CARE also carries out evacuations: in areas where electricity and heating have completely failed or where people have lost their homes, CARE provides warm collective shelters. Additional activities include supplying households with heating oil, warm sleeping bags, and thermal blankets.

Hannöversche Tafel (Food Bank)

Distribution of Food

Every day, volunteers of the Hannover Food Bank collect food that is no longer for sale but still of good quality from companies, supermarkets, stores, and bakeries to distribute it to people in need in Hannover.

Through this approach, baked goods, vegetables, fruits, and ready-to-eat products are made available for free pickup at distribution points. These items are then distributed to over 20 social organizations, including shelters for the homeless, centers for women and children, refugee services, and programs for individuals struggling with addiction. Additionally, food is provided to 20 institutions as part of the Children’s Food Bank program.
